Endoprothetics refers to various methods of replacing diseased, arthritic joints with artificial prostheses. One aim is to restore the patient’s mobility as quickly as possible and eliminate pain.
Hip, knee and ankle joints are replaced with artificial joints as part of arthroplasty.
